The Triumph of Saint Katherine

A tremendously well designed set by Games Workshop, it took quite some planning to decide what to assemble first and what to leave separate before painting. Assembly itself was quite straightforward, but the set had a lot of mold lines in hard to reach places. Painting wise I went for a limited palette. I’m a big fan of the box art paint scheme, but it had a bit too much black in it, which I don’t really like painting all that much. In the end I’m very happy with the end result, finishing off at more than 60 hours of work.

Infinity Ariadna warband

This was another commission, and this was the second time I painted the huge Blackjack model. I mainly went with a light-brown color on him since I had to stay close to the box art as requested by the customer. As a secondary color I chose a dark green to stick close to the Marauders box art. The Intel Spec-ops model also allowed me to stay close to these colors, but the Uknown Ranger and Caledonian Mormaers are a bit further off. But in the end this warband looks amazing when put together.

Nighthaunt Black Coach

Spent over 40 hours on this project. Great set, a pleasure to paint.

Nighthaunts Liekoron the Executioner

The hourglass was a fun detail, but apart from that this miniature resembles the rank-and-file Nighthaunts a lot, except for his size.

Kurdoss Valentian, The Kraven King

This mini was a real pleasure to build and paint, and also a surprisingly easy one to do so also. Especially the blending on the flag was fun to do and turned out great in my opinion.
